How to Estimate Your Property Size
Use these simple tips to measure or estimate the sizes of the areas you want cleaned. Don’t worry about being exact — just your best guess helps us provide a better quote!
1. House Exterior
- Estimate the total square footage of your home’s exterior walls for pressure washing.
- For a 1-story house, use the footprint size or the area of the walls.
- For a 2-story house, add the first and second floors together.
- If you don’t know, use your home’s total square footage from property records or real estate listings as a rough guide.
2. Driveways & Patios
- Measure the length and width in feet, then multiply to get square footage (length × width).
- If measuring is tricky, pace out the area: one adult step ≈ 2.5 feet.
- For irregular shapes, break the area into smaller rectangles or circles and sum their areas.
- If your driveway is less than 400 sq.ft., it qualifies for our flat rate pricing.
3. Sidewalks & Walkways
- Estimate either the length in linear feet or the total square footage if the sidewalk is wide.
- If you only have length, that's fine—we can calculate approximate area based on standard widths.
4. Fence & Gutters
- Measure or estimate the total linear feet of fence or gutters you want cleaned.
- Include all sides and sections you want done.
5. Roof
- Estimate the total roof area in square feet.
- If you don’t know, use your home’s square footage as a rough guide (roof area is usually about 1.5 × home footprint).
- We use a soft wash to safely remove algae and mold.
